VICTOR announced today that it will be the new title sponsor of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Superseries Premier event, China Open 2013, which is set to take place Nov. 13-18 in Shanghai, China.
VICTOR, one of the world’s largest badminton brands, inked a deal to become the new title sponsor of the 2013 China Open, a Superseries Premier-leveled BWF tournament which boasts a total prize of $450,000.
“VICTOR is proud to be the title sponsor of China Open and to offer it’s spectators a week full of badminton at the top level in this iconic event,” said Jeff Chen, the President of VICTOR Rackets Ind. Corp..
“Thank you to the fans that came to appreciate the games of badminton in this beautiful stadium over the past years,” said Chen. “VICTOR will strive to make this event an unforgettable one for the world.”
Since its inception in 1986, China Open has seen a host of great champions reign the titles, including Lin Dan, Chen Long of China, Korean doubles star Lee Yong Dae, and Fung Permadi from Chinese Taipei.
VICTOR celebrates its 45th anniversary on Oct. 10, with a launch of its new “READY TO WIN” brand campaign and thematic video. The title sponsorship of the signature event on the BWF tour will become another stride to increase its global visibility of VICTOR.
