After the match Lee said that that he is very happy that he and Ko are playing so well after their short time as partners but they still need to work  on serve and receiving serve. Ko said that the two still haven’t developed full understanding and sometimes go for the same shot at key points, however, he thinks Lee is a very reliable partner and this gives him more confidence on court and allows him to concentrate on playing well.

In the BWF world rankings released yesterday, Lee/Ko have risen to 10th in the world, less than 600 points behind 9th ranked pair Malaysia’s Thien How Hoon/Wee Kiong Tan.
